Billing

How metering works, what you're charged for, and where to manage payment.

Not verified yet

Norcube bills usage-based: there's no upfront commitment. You pay only for what you use, with a free-tier allowance on every product that covers most small teams indefinitely.

How metering works

Each product has its own usage signal:

  • LangSync – number of non-empty translated strings stored.
  • Backup – per-GB of backup storage held + per-second of job runtime.
  • DomainRadar – per-query, broken down by which method actually answered (Bloom is cheap, full WHOIS is dear).
  • PromptHub – not yet billable.

Each event is recorded at the time it happens. We aggregate it into a running monthly invoice that finalises at month-end.

See your current usage

In app.norcube.comBilling:

  • This month's estimate. Projected total at month-end based on current accrual.
  • Daily / weekly / monthly burn. Trends to spot a sudden spike.
  • Per-product breakdown. Where the cost is coming from.

The estimate updates a few times an hour.

Invoices

  • Invoices are issued on the first of each month for the previous month's usage.
  • Payment is automatic against the org's default payment method.
  • Invoice PDF and CSV are downloadable from BillingInvoices.

What you're paying for at the line-item level

Each invoice itemises:

  • Per-product usage (LangSync strings, Backup GB-months, etc.).
  • Per-method usage for DomainRadar (Bloom queries × rate, RDAP queries × rate, …).
  • Free-tier credit applied so you can verify the allowance.
  • Adjustments if any (manual credits, refunds).

Free tier

Every product has a free-tier allowance reset monthly. See the product pricing page per product, or the BillingFree tier view in the dashboard for your live usage against the allowance.

Tax

VAT is added per your billing address. If you've provided a valid EU VAT number under reverse charge, VAT is shown but not added.
